What we collect and why

Insight Groove is a social media analytics dashboard. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through our login provider (Lovable Cloud authentication). We use this to identify your account and secure your access.

When you choose to connect a social profile (Meta, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Ads), the platform’s OAuth flow may provide us with public profile information such as your account handle, display name, and profile picture. We also store access tokens and refresh tokens needed to read analytics and page data on your behalf.

We do not sell your personal data. We use connected data only to display analytics, build reports, and improve your experience within the app.

How we store and protect data

Account and connection data are stored in the app backend (Lovable Cloud). Access tokens are stored per user and protected by row-level security so that each user can only access their own data. Platform tokens are encrypted at rest where the backend provider supports it. Because the platform also handles authentication and database infrastructure, security is a shared responsibility between the app owner and the platform provider.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and connected platform data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect a social account at any time inside the dashboard; this removes the stored tokens and profile data for that connection. You can request full account deletion by emailing us at the address below; deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days, subject to any legal or technical constraints.

Third-party services and subprocessors

Insight Groove relies on Lovable Cloud for hosting, authentication, and database services. When you connect a social account, the relevant platform (Meta, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Ads) acts as an independent data source. Each platform has its own privacy policy and terms that also apply to your use of their service through Insight Groove.

Your rights and choices

You can review, disconnect, or delete your connected social accounts from the dashboard. For requests about personal data, account deletion, or questions about this policy, contact the app owner at jkipro45@gmail.com. The app owner will respond to privacy requests in accordance with applicable law and the platform’s capabilities.

Changes to this policy

The app owner may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
